White Sands, New Mexico. The sand here is super fine and cool to the touch. The dunes go far out into the desert, with only the mountains in the background to give away that they do eventually come to an end. The day we were there was overcast, but the few times the sun shone on the dunes it reflected off brilliantly.
Very good here Heather, the contrast between dark and light is very noticeable, making the image very attractive.
ReplyDeleteThe day was wonderful for getting shots like this, the overcast sky added a lot to the beauty of the white dunes. Also, not many people were out there that day so we had a great chance to explore.
