No more photos!

This lioness was not in the best mood when we found her. At first she was passively watching us, but when I started taking her picture her face changed to this. Guess she wasn't found of having her picture taken. After this shot she snapped took a more aggressive stance, so we just continued on the path and left her alone. This was taken at Out of Africa near Camp Verde, Arizona.

Vent

The first time I saw this was in Detroit, but I was unable to get a good picture of it. It just fascinated me, and I was happy when I was able to snap this shot on a chilly October morning in Washington, D.C.

Little Stream

This was taken in Southern New Mexico on a nice scenic drive past Cloudcroft.

Just out of reach

I swear this bird was teasing Loki. It was sitting on a limb just outside of our window and twittering away. It drove poor Loki nuts! She just stared out the bird, and then at the limb long after the bird flew away.

Rose Bush

A good friend of mine has some beautiful rose bushes in her backyard. When I visited yesterday they were just covered in roses. This was taken in Gilbert, Arizona.

Heavy Clouds

I loved the contrast between the sky and the deep green of the forests. This was taken while driving south from a trip up to the mountains, just outside of Payson, Arizona.
